There has been a bit more in the way of cloud during this morning than of late, but that is just a very minor issue as the Sun (as has been the case throughout this month) just keeps on refusing to stop shining in this part of the world with a total of 2.1 hours of sunshine being recorded for today so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank as at 11am this morning.

After yet another official air frost, the temperature here in Edinburgh has recovered to around 8°C as at 11am this morning.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

Fair with some sunshine and broken cloud, them thar hills to the north of the town seems to be doing a good job in filtering out the cloud moving in from the north west. 

Still a fresh-feeling 9.8 c & 60% h from a peak of 11.8 cat 1.30 pm, but not as "frigid" as of late on account of a gentle west breeze (didn't get any higher than 8.4 c yesterday).
