Like Rob, I was totally gobsmacked to see this this morning. Snow has stopped now, but left 3cm of snow on cars and grass, and a temporary covering on my driveway and paths.

Patio table depth was exactly 1 inch when the snow stopped. Good snowball material!

Couldn’t believe the snow here this morning, just under 4cms. Almost all gone now but ,as others have said, nice to see.

Few bits of snow flakes spotted on my car when i put out rubbish this morning and again few snow flurries from a dying shower cloud above us which I can see the faint downdraft.

So the models did materialise as you saw it 2 weeks ago haha. Sods law. There was a covering of snow over Dartmoor this morning too. Could this be the snowiest April? Or coldest April since..? 2008? Hmm..

Just thinking how nice this would have been if this pattern occurred back in January. We have had 2 northerly blasts so far this April and it's only 12th April.

I guess on the plus side its not boring by any means and if you don't like the snow just wait a few hours before it melts and warms up..simple.
