Heavy snow now and 7cm at the moment and sometimes like bluzzards conditions with snow sticking on the lamp posts.  Easterly winds here now.

Still heavy snow here...that's 10 hrs of snowfall ..15cm+...

Yes and on NW Midlands thread post show the radar my area and your are in the line of precips that keep going for few hours left, not sure if we will get very cold night now but any extra hour of snow tonight is a bonus.  Still heavy snow and almost reaching 10cm 

Snowing steadily here. 

Resulted at 8cm depth and now clear skies and thermometer had been put on the snow to record the ground snow surface temps to see how cold it can get.

Best snowfall I’ve seen in Kibworth South Leicestershire in 25 years of living here. The blizzard earlier this afternoon was insane. The snow started to fall about 11 am and stopped around 8 pm leaving us with around 5/6” in depth. The hills in Leicestershire must have got buried today. Could someone let me know how to send photos?

The light showery stuff has arrived here, but sadly it's just light rain (apparently is as snow over them thar hills). 1.1 c & 95% h but winds are almost dead calm.

The Lynx effect continues at my location, as in this winter stinks of Folkestone and disappointment.

I wonder how Buxton did for snow? I am sure there use to be someone who posted reports from there?

Doubt Buxton did that well today, too far north for more than a dusting. Might have had existing snow though . Derby across to Leicester/Peterborough seems to have been the best spot today.
