There were a few snow showers near the city this afternoon, both just out to sea and over the nearby hills. Nothing here though.
The snow here has finally stopped and what's settled is quickly disappearing, temps have risen to 0.7C and dp -0.9C. Lasted longer than I imagined and higher up in the Mendips probably faired quite well.
An hour or so of fine snow means day 12 of falling snow this winter which is impressive.
Some of the showers coming in off the North Sea have clipped here and left a light dusting on all surfaces.Looking at the radar there may be a little more to come. It’s nice to see snow coming in from the east/sea.
