Yes, it's not been at all pleasant in this corner of the country.  12.5mm of rain here since lunchtime, and it's 6.2*C.  Yuk.

Filthy, especially as it's pouring down now thus bumping it up to 16 mm but at least winds are now much lighter.

No snow here just the usual bone dry sunshine we get in winter nowadays but thankfully without the vile wind that accompanied it for the entirety of last winter and most winters since 2011.

A very cold, pleasant and frosty day in fact with a max of only 1.1C making it the coldest day since 2nd March 2018. Shockingly last winter failed to record a max below 3C

Won't see the coldest night since March 2018 as yet again the temperature is rising during the evening instead of falling as the wind is picking up. -0.8C currently.

Oops, my mistake there. We didn't see any properly cold nights back then either due to cloud. Just don't get them at all any more

Well, at least you have managed to get an official air frost which is something which we hardly ever get here any more, and something which we certainly can't seem to get at the moment.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

Pis . . . raining again where I'm now at 22.2 mb, still a mild 8.0 c especially as winds are relatively lighter.

I've noticed pressure went down from 1009 mb at 12 am last night to 975 mb currently, a drop of 34 mb in 24 hours, isn't that classed as explosive cyclogenesis?
