Please could you post year end positions in years past? EDIT: Found the thread from the same time last year, but all the image links in it are broken  https://www.theweatheroutlook.com/twocommunity/default.aspx?g=posts&t=20562&p=6

Here is the updated table with year-end positions and prediction errors for those who have been in the competition since 2010. A couple of people dropped out this year as they have not made predictions for a full year over the past 2 years (NeilM and Snow Hoper).

Thanks for this GW. DarrenS is comfortably in the lead for the overall averages too. He is going to take a lot of catching up!

Interesting that there are 16 people who have done each competition since 2010. Well done to all of us

And very interesting that the difference in annual prediction error from top to bottom is only 2.78. That gives a monthly difference of 0.23 between Saint and Darren. If you take Darren out of the equation, the difference is 1.84 annually and only 0.15 monthly which is nothing at all really.

It just shows that there is hope for all of us to climb back up the table.

GW - What do you reckon on setting up a rolling 5 year annual average error too? Then newer joiners could also take an interest in the longer game.

Sorry - there were very few people in the competition that year so it is difficult to include it for comparison purposes. We all remember you stormed to victory that year. Bit of a one hit wonder though!
