Seems effortless to get wet months at the moment.
Was up to 28mm earlier this morning but there has been some rain since.

31mm for the month now.

Yearly total stands at 674.5mm. This is the first year I have managed to keep an accurate rainfall total throughout, but think this is definitely above average for this point. Average for the year being approx, 800mm based on Met Office maps, but it does vary considerably locally due to the Pennines.

We're a week into September and the rainfall total here is 1.3mm to date, and the GEFS is showing almost no rain for next week.  The monthly LTA for Sept. is 53.9mm, so at the moment we're looking at another dryer than average month here.
