It's here too, that crud belongs over on your side of the Pennines. In fact it's recently spread right to the Lancashire coast. I don't know which part of the west coast you are heading to but the Cumbrian coast looks clear at the moment.

And as this is the current conditions thread, better make a report. 16.0C and cloudy although there are some signs of brightness.

The crud is here in Coventry, in fact we’re dead centre of the North Sea pall so don’t expect it to break up for some time.

I noticed a bit of a wind yesterday evening. Must have been enough to bring in the damp marine layer across the Midlands.

The cloud's just about hanging on here, but my goodness is it humid!

The WS in the garden says 25.0C, dewpoint 20.1C, but I suspect both of those are a degree or so too high.
There's a slight breeze from the NE.

(Side note: seems Oregon Scientific have withdrawn from the UK weather station market - quite strange!)

After a 7 C start it's mostly sunny in Edinburgh now but a fresh east wind and 16 C. Jumper needed out of the sun and a bit cool for shorts!
