Stormchaser - I think you may have missed me on the chart as was 7th last time, unless I fell 20 places from predicting 0.3c out ??
Anyway not to worry , happy to wait for the official chart whenever GW is ready ....

Here are the final daily temperature maximums for August. 


We had 4 date records. The figures for Charlwood were not available in real time so have now superceded the provisional data. Charlwood was the hotspot on 4 days.


I have updated my tracker of days with 35C or above in the UK which is copied below.


We have had a total of 13 days above 30C this year (including the one day in September). There were 7 days above 34C including 6 in a row which is a record.
