This morning started off on a bright and sunny note here in Edinburgh.

However, that didn't last for too long before it then clouded over and so, a total of just 6 minutes of sunshine has now been recorded for today so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank as at 7am this morning.

Last night's overnight minimum temperature was 9.3°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank and 10.3°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.

Meanwhile, the temperature at 7am this morning was around 13°C here in Edinburgh.

Now, the Sun is back out here in Edinburgh as is always the case and so, we should get yet another decent day here in Edinburgh After all.

In fact, I don't think it even matters any more about how cloudy it is at certain times since the day is always going to be quite sunny overall in the end, anyway.
