According to this link, last month's final rainfall total at Edinburgh Gogarbank according to the official Met Office data is in complete agreement with the unofficial final total for there which I have reported on this thread by using the data from SEPA.

This means that according to that official Met Office data, a total of 4.0 mm of rain fell at Edinburgh Gogarbank between 10am (09:00 UTC) on 1 April 2020 and 10am (09:00 UTC) on 1 May 2020 (the period which is the official observation month of April).

The result of this is that, last month should now be officially confirmed by the Met Office as the second driest April on record at Edinburgh Gogarbank as I was already basing that on past official Met Office data, rather than on any past data from SEPA.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
