That’s pretty much in line with GW’s latest estimate of 6.26c.

Bertie started the December thread. PM your predictions to GW as per usual.

Annual CET competition - November update

Congratulations to Gusty who had the closest prediction for November with an error of 0.03C, closely followed by Hippydave with 0.04C.

For the annual competition, Col retains his lead with Gusty moving into second place. Very close between the top three as we go into the final month of the year.

Interesting indeed:)

Looks like I'm still in the lead but by my calculations it has been cut somewhat to 0.27C.

Yep, a great month for the comp.

I went wildly too low but that's the fun of not seeing anyone else's bid.

I'll try to regain a top 10 place with my canny, cunning, foxy-stoaty December bet.

Gusty given your consistent, excellent performance in the CET competition it's quite extraordinary that you've not been the monthly winner until now. Congratulations on the win - I think this is your year!

Thanks Simon! Gutted not to get a mention for my 0.06C error which is probably my best for some time! Still a chance of finishing Top 10 this year despite not having been in the Top 10 all year; poor compared to my 2018 performance.

Well I might have something to say about that :)

Actually I only won one month, back in January and even that was a joint win!

Well Col, I think that I've had 3 possibly 4 wins over the years and yet I've never had a top 10 finish.  So why don't we combine my luck with your brains?! We'd be unstoppable!

I see this competition as more like the Tour de France. You don't have to actually win any of the individual months to win the whole thing. But you do need to be near the front of the main pack as often as possible.
