This morning was reasonably OK here in Hawick with a lot of cloud around, and a few glimpses of the Sun.

During this afternoon though, the weather then went downhill as it then became overcast with some rain at times. That then continued into this evening before the rain then eased off, although it remains overcast.

Today was cooler than of late with a return to sub-20°C maximum temperatures once again as today's maximum temperature was around 18°C.

However, it has become a bit more humid as this evening has gone on, with the temperature currently at around 15°C.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
