It is quite bright here now with some blue sky appearing. Not the best day but has been forecast to be cooler than the last 4 days and next week here at least

After a rather cloudy morning with even a trace amount of rain (not enough to tip the rain gauge), it then brightened up with sunny breaks after noon time but as I type this at 1.45 pm there are more cloud than there are sun but still classed as "fair".

The current 21.3 c & 61% h are feeling pleasantly comfortable in a light NE breeze.

Little cause for complaints, to be honest as it all suits me just fine.

After some nice sunny spells with just a few clouds this morning, there’s now more patchy cloud but it’s still bright and pleasant. 19c.

Rather cool and cloudy for most of the day with just 19C.

However, a large hole appeared in the cloud about an hour ago and the temperature shot up to 22C. Now the cloud has returned again.

'After a fine end to the day, it will stay dry with clear spells overnight. It will feel cooler in some rural spots, with possibly a few isolated mist and fog patches. '

Still yet to see the sun !

From December 27th 2020, zonality will be banned from mixing with the UK. We appreciate that this may come as a shock to younger people and old Uncle Barty. This ban will last for a minimum of ten days.

This afternoon has got better as it has gone on. The clouds have melted away and it is now just about completely sunny as I write.

However, a total of just 2.7 hours of sunshine has been recorded for today so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank as at 5pm this afternoon and we need to be doing a lot better than that if we going to get away with a sunnier than average month this time.

However, it has warmed up a bit once again with that sunshine and the temperature at 5pm this afternoon was 19.7°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank, 20°C at Edinburgh Airport and 19.7°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.
