I'm working on a new feature which integrates your smart phone camera (environment facing) directly into the TWO website. It enables you to take a photo and publish it directly to TWO, along with your location. There are also tagging options which can be entered manually. At the moment the feature is very basic and in development. However. I'd appreciate your help in testing it. To test: 1) You will need to be logged into the TWO forum 2) Follow this link to go to the camera page: https://www.theweatheroutlook.com/photo-uploader.aspx 3) Press the round button to take a photo 4) The photo is previewed. (You can optionally tag at this stage) Press Publish to upload to TWO or CAMERA to discard the photo and try again 5) Photos currently should appear on this page: https://www.theweatheroutlook.com/twoother/sky-eye-live.aspx IMPORTANT 1) The photos are visible to anyone so please don't post family pics etc! The idea is this will provide a view on the weather around the UK. Once it is stable I'll make available to Twitter, FB and Google users to bump up numbers. 2) Photos in the testing phase may be deleted at any time 3) Your IP address and username is mapped to pic for security reasons Apple / IOS users This should be available for testing from 09/03. It does sound great. There's been many an occasion I've taken a weather-related pic but not ended up posting it because I was out and about and couldn't be bothered uploading it to a photo storage site then opening a post, then hotlinking to the pic. This sounds much cleaner |

Yes, I ech what the other's have said so far. It sounds like a great tool! And it's another reason why Android is sooooo much better than iPhone! |

I did a test photo which seemed to bugger it up but it is showing again now. Although it thinks I posted it from the North Sea. |

There are 2 reasons I can think of: 1) The file could be too big. I can quickly change the upload limit, although it is quite high already so I would be surprised if you have exceeded it. 2) Your internet connection dropped or timed out If you get chance can you try again please? The picture which has uploaded today is one I took earlier in Berkhamsted. It isn't exactly in the right place on the map, but the coordinates are stored correctly in the database so correcting should be a relatively easy task. https://www.theweatheroutlook.com/twoother/sky-eye-live.aspx Edited by user 12 March 2019 14:14:05(UTC)

I followed the instructions on my phone but nothing at all happened May be because I am being stupid but I wondered if it is the type of internet connection that matters I only use my mobile phone very occasionally as PAYG (and as a phone strangely !). I do have internet access but via wi fi and not via 4G. Would this explain it ? |

There isn't anything logged in the database and no pictures have uploaded. I will try and build in more meaningful feedback so that you can see the error message returned. |

I fixed a problem with longitude coordinates at 13:02 today. For example, if you were at 0.5 deg it was recording 0.05 deg. That fix will not be retrospectively applied to photos. |
