Pretty much. Can only imagine the potential that air mass would bring if it happens. Deeply cold air moving over the 2nd biggest lake in the world.
You can tell we also do well here for snow from a cold westerly.

These GFS bitterly cold north westerlies are a nonsense no chance it will be that cold and snowy in reality.
Looking at the more reliable time frame in less than 3 days time:
Many of us will either wake up to a covering of snow or see snow falling so even if this blocking doesn't properly Materialise then at least we would all have seen some snow by the middle of next week on the plus side? - albeit wet and sleety!?
