I'm struggling to work out why it has turned into an offshoot of the Climate Forum.

Here is the upper air anomaly chart (compared to the LTA) for day 6 on this morning's ECM. With large positive anomalies dominant in sources of our coldest air (Am) (Pc) it is difficult to see where the truly cold air is going to come from in the near future.
