Thanks for all the analysis and for singling me out for a mention! I hadn't realised I had been so notably consistent with my finishes over the years.

Many thanks GW for the competition again this year and also for the near record-breaking results publication !

Congrats to Snowshoe on pipping me for gold this year although after my two cr*p predictions in June and July I'm pleased to survive in 2nd place - a mere 46 places better than I managed last year

Onward and upward for the 2018 comp and good luck to everyone who enters !

Wow, I really didn't expect to win this, and I'm not entirely sure how I did it. Thought I'd blown it with my too cold December prediction.

Thanks for all the congratulations, and commiserations to lanky. And of course a big thank you to Global Warming from running this competition.

I'm surprised- and pleased- I finished as high as 17th place after some appalling predictions last year!

Sorry- not an afterthought- thank you so much GW for running this each month & year. It's great fun.

Congrats to Snowshoe.

Great to finish the year on a high after a very average year of guesses.

On to more rubbish guesses in 2018

Many thanks GW.

I was very pleased to fluke my way back into the Top 10 for the year.

Though my record in no way compares to Darren's, it would be interesting to see a table of the final finishes for the last few years. Do you have such a thing? Appreciate this might not be that quick a job, so no worries at all if you don't have the time.

Thanks again for all your efforts.
