Just looking at the NYC live webcam - this is expected to turn to rain tonight followed by 12c tomorrow afternoon! - Gosh all the fun weather they are getting and we aren't seeing any 'winter weather excitement' as always!

Anyone following this, then click on 'Crossroads' cam and 'Street cam' - As it's funny watching they are doing in the snow plus just saw someone slide and fall over when jumping on that low flat bench wall in the that 'Street Cam' ha.. ha! pain in arse! BUT THAT SNOW is turning out to be a slushfest like what Exeter had on 31st Jan!

I thought NYC was in the 3 to 6 or 6 to 12" of snow today into tomorrow but looking at webcam it looks very wet there? No snow to be seen in NYC at 6pm ET!?

Not quite the 6 to 12" of snow in NYC that was forecast then? It did get downgraded to 5 to 8" by accuWeather of snow but looking early morning 07:30am webcam it does look like a snowy scene  there or maybe they cleared it pretty quickly and or it melted and was more of a slush fest but I was expecting to see a good dump of snow on Times Square webcam with heaps of snow piled up on sidewalks too like during their usual nor easter' snowstorms:

I was in Toronto [Brampton]  last week and while you all here had record warmth we had temperatures some days  max of -8 down to -16 at night with all day snow on my last day obviously I thought it great but the locals not so much

Down side was I was stuck in the aircraft on the journey home for an hour and a half waiting to be de-iced .

Reports of up to 12 touch downs across Alabama,Georgia and Florida from the system!

The reports I have seen focus on one tornado that took out a 400m wide swathe of land with everything on it!

Such and amazing natural phenomena but always so tragic when people become involved.

Wettest US winter on record - by a smidgeon - and (surprisingly in view of the well-publicised visit of the polar vortex) an above-average temperature for the winter as a whole, with the exception of only one state.

The same areas that suffered the 'bomb cyclone' only 3 weeks ago are bracing for a repeat this week with further flooding in the mid west expected to exacerbate the 3 billion already cost by the last event.

There appears to be a migration of folk from the blighted areas further adding into the woes of the mid west
