I anticipate it being a touch down on this year with La Nina conditions but not by much.

It seems clear that if we get a cet figure under 10c it can be classified as a cold year. Looking back through the cet record a yet of over 10c was rare now it has been the norm for the past 30 years except for the occasional year.Almost every year there is exceptional warmth sometime or another and hardly any exceptional cold,December 2010 and March 2013 being the noteable exceptions. Its only a matter of time before there is a cet of 11c+ all it needs is for a long overdue hot summer to achieve this.

Having said all that im going for 10.68 for 2018

If you look at annual CET on a rolling basis (so there are 12 annual values each year) instead of just Jan-Dec then we have already exceeded 11C

May 2006 to Apr 2007 comes in at 11.63C

I will go for a warmish one in 2018 at 10.74C please
