I wonder if thats the peak for July 2013? Unless we get another plume, I would think we'll either hold steady or maybe slowly decline through this last week of the month?

10th March- 9th April 2013 CET was 2.4C and 3 months later a July with a CET of 18.0+ is likely that's a 16C difference with a space of just 3 months which is pretty remarkable.

Nothing is indicating anything hotter than what we'ev had - but the CET might hold if we have warmer nights as a result of the much higher humidity and cloudy/thundery weather - a bit like August 1997.

True. Highs of 23C and lows of 15C would be enough to keep the CET where it is.

The Hadley data continues to be way too high. My CET estimate up to the 26th is 18.39C. This compares well with Philip Eden's figure of 18.4C http://www.climate-uk.com/

Little change in the forecast for the final CET as compared to a week ago. I am currently expecting 18.28C

It's not likely to hit 19c then.  You're usually right with your projections!

16.4C here (+1.5C) - probably won't change much now.
This is the first above average month this year, March 2012 was +1.6C so comparable in a way.
Although this year by way of balance March and April were -3.8C and -1.9C
Year so far is on 7C, it is still looking like a cool year.
