Jellyfish and cirrostratus sunset to the west with the odd tower going up. Recent lightning on the Islands of Strathclyde. Looks like instability is starting over Ireland and western Scotland

Estofex continues with the level 1 warning for N. Wales, N. England and into Scotland for Wednesday. The odd cell now electrifying in SW Wales.

Constant thunder and frequent flashes of lightning here as that narrow band of intense precipitation heads northwards. More lightning in the last 10 minutes than about the last ten years!

Some impressive looking storms this morning for parts of Scotland, Some quite vigorous ones over Wales, IoM, fringing into Cumbria. That will all be heading NNE as well!

Signs of cells forming on the eastern flank of existing storms in Wales, NW England could be seeing something soon. Also some cells trying to get going in the Midlands, but the environment clearly not as conducive here.

Worth noting that some models are breaking out some isolated storms further south this afternoon - south midlands, possibly as far south as London area.
