It now looks like the last three days of the month will be very mild indeed which will push the CET back up a fair bit. Another cold day tomorrow followed by an average day on Friday and then a very pleasant weekend to come. My CET estimate for March is now at 7.60C SHOW EXTERNAL IMAGES |

I'm happy enough with that, would be 0.4 off same as Feb but i was too late with that prediction I'm with Gavin, think April could be colder than March, winter could be set to arrive for you guys, it usually does, you never totally escape normally, same as 1998 and 1989, can't say that it will be welcomed  Tom

So three months to go for the most obsessive snow watchers, and only a 3 month summer break. |

On 5.7C here which is +0.4C, we may edge up a bit the next couple of days as overnights are higher even if fog spoils the days. |

Out of interest does anyone have the list of warmest first quarter of the year? J, F and M have all been pretty warm but none exceptionally so, still we are running close to +2C year to date. Must be in the top 10 I'd think. |
