Today has started off on a bright and largely sunny note, albeit on a breezy note with some cloud around here in Edinburgh.

Last night was cooler than of late with an overnight minimum temperature of 9.4°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

Meanwhile, the temperature at 9am BST (08:00 UTC) this morning was around 12°C here in Edinburgh.

What a difference a day makes

24.7C and raining slightly out of a seemingly clear sky! A lot of cloud about though. Very humid.

This warm spell hanging on by its fingernails with hazy sunshine and a warm-feeling 23.8 C & 69% H despite a mod NE breeze now setting in.

Just topped 27c on the south coast. Light rain, very muggy

Temperature falling steadily since a 10.30 max of 22.5C. Now a cloudy breezy 15.9C! Long planned family bbq hanging on by a thread. Could be a cook outdoors eat indoors event.

Missed yesterdays 31 C!!

I've not experienced more than 21 C yet this year and only seen 2 sunny days in June!

I'll wait for my September in Portugal to get some heat!
