How on earth did those snowy footprints form?? OK, here's an idea. Someone walks across the snow and compacts it under their feet. Then the wind picks up and drifts the dry snow towards the centre. However the compacted snow isn't light enough to be blown around and stays put, leaving the snowy footprints on the bare ground. |
