After the coldest April since 1986 and the coldest May since 1996, it would be pretty astounding to then get the warmest June since 1976. It would definitely be a talking point down the line. I doubt it will happen though. A bit of a cool down looks likely now and then you get the typical slight downward correction in the CET at the end of the month. However a late heat wave could easily keep us over the 16.1 to beat (2003 and 2018). Edited by user 16 June 2021 17:24:51(UTC)
