The suicide-inducing ordeal of an October continues with yet another dark, dull, depressing morning of damp mild muck.

Full overcast yet again following a min of 5.9C and that is the lowest it's got so far this week. Unrelenting garbage

Here in Edinburgh, the earlier damp stuff has now given way to something which we hardly ever see these days in these parts, and that is clear blue skies with lots of sunshine.

Meanwhile, the temperature at 2pm this afternoon was around 10°C here in Edinburgh.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

Rather changeable so far today where it was quite bright this morning before turned all dull and damp in the first half of the afternoon. But now the sun is back out again heating up my famed-west facing hobby room.

Still a mild-feeling 14.2 c, especially as winds are still only a light south west breeze.

2.4 mm so far today.
