Here in the land where actual weather never happens these days, today has started off on a bright and sunny note.

Despite the clearer overnight skies in comparison with the previous night though, last night was actually slightly milder, though still rather chilly for the time of year.

Last night's overnight minimum temperature was 3.8°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank and 4.4°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh, and the temperature at 7am this morning was around 4°C here in Edinburgh.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

After what has been a murky, dull and damp morning (1.2 mm worth of drizzle), the sun came out at mid-day and is now looking much more cheerful with sunshine and only patchy cloud. Temps are responding in kind at 19.1 c currently but also a muggy 90% h, The green is quickly coming back to my lawn.
