So no 6s, but these figures must be right- credibly close together, and otherwise they would all 3 be anomalously low. I return to my original position wrt the graphs, but will treat inconsistencies wrt Chilton with some consideration.

Nothing on the home front to write home about, but Gib managed 9 on 11th and 9.2 yesterday.

Chilton's line is very steep today; looks like it was approaching 5 by 11am.

First 6 of the year here. Been sat out between 12:00-14:00 and got a nice early tan!

After all the high fives (& a few 6s) it's all ones and two right now!

Interesting how the BBC are always a little reluctant compared to MetO to up the UV forecast; for example, there have been numerous 6s forecast by MetO in the S recently, but the Beeb forecast won't raise its head above the 'Moderate' parapet.

Changed for Thursday this week- with MetO forecasting 7, Beeb has tiptoed into a 'High' forecast.

Chilton 6.4, Reading 6.3, so not quite as high as was forecast a little further south.

Camborne- second day on 7!

Reading- second day on 6.3

Chilton- second day on 6.4

These readings all seem absolutely right, given the conditions AND the forecasts from MetO and Beeb.

6.3 at both Chilton and Reading; meanwhile, under cloud, Camborne has only 1.9

Reading a hazier 6.2 but Chilton and Camborne 6.5
