Dull and damp with drizzle (0.2 mm) blowing in a brisk S breeze, all making the current 8.3 c (95% h) feel quite cold.

A bit of a comedown on the recent sunny weather.

Tim, mayhem in Ilkley, seen 3 trees down tonight, had to clamber over a huge branch into my drive. Tree guys cutting a big fallen tree on The Grove in Ilkley town centre. Looks like a gust of 74mph at Leeds Bradford Airport. What happened between 3pm and 8pm? Do you think it was a Lee Wave feature?

Here in Edinburgh, the winds at Edinburgh Gogarbank gusted only up to around 55.3mph from the WSW earlier on today but apart from that, nothing in the way of any sort of "interesting" weather is actually happening here, as per usual as this almost complete non-event which is known as our "winter" continues to drag on.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
