Again, very little happening here in Edinburgh in terms of our weather as today has started off on a dull, overcast, depressing and soul destroying note with yet more constant grey skies. The only difference from how other days during this week have started off is that there has been no overnight rain this time but in this instance, that just serves to make everything even more boring. To make matters even worse, the temperatures also refused to drop during last night due to there being too much cloud around and so, last night's overnight minimum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank was 12.3°C. Meanwhile, the temperature at 8am this morning was around 13°C here in Edinburgh. |
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh. |

Yet another day of grey drab nothingness from this excruciatingly bland and boring weather vacuum September. Temp dropped no lower than 9.6C overnight and that is the lowest it's got all week. Yet it's still just 11.5C and looking like yet another colder than average day. Simply dreadful. |

Thin overcast but still quite bright, calm, dry. 15.4*C (minimum 11.4*C at 7.15am); 95%RH. 1025.1mb rising slowly. Looks as though the cloud has come over earlier than shown on the forecast, which is a pity, as the sun won't be able to dry off the very damp conditions underfoot which are the result of a combination of a short sharp shower yesterday evening and a heavy dew. |

The fine sunny start to the morning gave way to cloud for most of the day but the sun is now coming back out again and thus making the current 20.4 c & 82% h feel positively balmy for it, even with the brisk W breeze.
0.2 mm of rain today, don't know where that came from.
