The Sun is now shining here in Edinburgh yet again after a cloudy start to today and a total of 18 minutes of sunshine has been recorded for today so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank as at 8am this morning.

Last night's overnight minimum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank was 9.9°C and the temperature here in Edinburgh at 8am this morning was around 13°C.
Located in the most boring part of the UK when it comes to our weather where hardly anything ever happens which is even remotely interesting in terms of our weather (other than yet more constant grey skies), and with the more interesting weather usually always occurring elsewhere in the UK apart from here.

A fine sunny afternoon with the current 21.3 c & 62% h feeling very pleasant in a mod SW breeze.

The min was 15.1 c at 6.30 am, not as oppressive as the min of 19.3 c at about the same time the day before.

Our late summer borefest goes on here in Edinburgh.

There was a brief spell of light rain during this afternoon, but this wasn't even enough to register anything other than a pitiful 0.2 mm of rain at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

Yet, a total of only 4.4 hours of sunshine was recorded for today in the end at Edinburgh and with two days left to go for this month, we still need a minimum total of another 5.0 hours of sunshine from those two days if this month is to go down as being sunnier than average overall at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

Furthermore, it is now no longer possible for this summer to be sunnier than average there which means that regardless of what now happens during the last two days of this month, this summer will now go down as being duller than average at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

Today was a cooler day than of late with a maximum temperature of just 18.0°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

However, the temperature at 11pm tonight was around so tonight is warmer than last night.

Located in the most boring part of the UK when it comes to our weather where hardly anything ever happens which is even remotely interesting in terms of our weather (other than yet more constant grey skies), and with the more interesting weather usually always occurring elsewhere in the UK apart from here.
