Our late summer borefest goes on here in Edinburgh.

There was a brief spell of light rain during this afternoon, but this wasn't even enough to register anything other than a pitiful 0.2 mm of rain at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

Yet, a total of only 4.4 hours of sunshine was recorded for today in the end at Edinburgh and with two days left to go for this month, we still need a minimum total of another 5.0 hours of sunshine from those two days if this month is to go down as being sunnier than average overall at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

Furthermore, it is now no longer possible for this summer to be sunnier than average there which means that regardless of what now happens during the last two days of this month, this summer will now go down as being duller than average at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

Today was a cooler day than of late with a maximum temperature of just 18.0°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

However, the temperature at 11pm tonight was around so tonight is warmer than last night.
