Yes, it is Harlech. And yes, Portmeirion. As a fan of The Prisoner, I loved it!

I'm not a fan of the Prisoner (not really watched it) but the place has a really amazing atmosphere or vibe or whatever you want to call it.

Wished I'd known you were going or I'd have heartily recommended eating at the Castell Deudraeth restaurant. It's superb food and if you have a 2 course lunch you get free entry into Portmeirion after. That makes the food price amazingly good value.
