Data from the GEM medium range deterministic model is now freely available on TheWeatherOutlook. GEM has a 25km horizontal resolution making it one of the better Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) models currently available forecasting from 0 to to 240 hours ahead in 3 hour steps.
It runs twice daily and on our site the charts are fully updated at about 5:20am and 5:20pm. Currently available are plots showing surface pressure, 850hPa temperatures and 500hPa heights.
