With the fine September weather there has been a lot of discussion about whether or not we've been enjoying an Indian summer. The term has been widely used in recent years, but there are different understandings of what it means. Can a fine spell in the meteorological autumn always be described as an Indian summer or are a special set of circumstances required for it to qualify?
