Issued 01/09/2014
The TWO autumn 2014 weather forecast has been issued and the headline is for an increasingly unsettled season. During the first half of September a good deal of fine and quiet spells are expected as high pressure remains close to the UK.
A transition to much more unsettled and stormy conditions is thought likely to begin developing through the second half of September. October and November are both thought likely to be slightly wetter than average.
The winter outlook as usual will be issued in late November, but through the autumn Buzz will take several looks at how things are shaping up.
