A number of changes have been made to the desktop site so that it's easier and quicker for you to navigate around. Most people who visit a web site want to be able to find what they are looking for (in our case that usually means a weather forecast) in as few clicks as possible. Also more and more people are browsing web sites with touch screen devices such as iPads. This means it's ever more important for pages to be uncluttered and links to be made as clear as possible. To achieve this some of the links have been made bigger (the homepage Weather Forecast Headlines), and many of the pages have been given a cleaner and more spacious feel.
