Changeable weather continues this week but in the south it will be drier and warmer at times. Next week there is a chance of a more settled period.
Monday will be a day of contrasts across the UK. In much of the north and west it is a wet start. Through the day outbreaks of heavy rain continue, although they should become become patchier. It's a different picture in central and eastern England where it remains dry. Sunny spells are likely but there will be more cloud this afternoon.
Temperatures range from a cool 12C (54F) in the north west to a warm 25C (77F) in the south eastern corner. See the rainfall radar for the latest view.
Tonight rain continues in the north and west, but drier conditions gradually return from the south west. Central and eastern England remain mostly dry.
Tomorrow rain clears from the north east to leave sunny spells and showers which will be heavy in the north. The south east and East Anglia should have a good deal of warm and bright weather
Wednesday is looking dry and bright in central and eastern areas. In the west cloud builds and outbreaks of rain return. Overnight and into Thursday the wet weather pushes eastwards across all regions.
