The week ahead brings mixed weather. However the trend will be towards warmer and drier conditions as high pressure builds from the south.
Sunday begins with showery rain in the south eastern corner and parts of central Scotland, but elsewhere it is fine. Through the course of the day blustery showers affect the north west and perhaps spread eastwards across Scotland. The rest of the country remains dry but during the afternoon cloud builds in the west.
Temperatures range from a cool 12C (54F) in western Scotland to a warm 24C (75F) in southern England. See the rainfall radar for the latest.
Tonight showery spells of rain affect northern England and Scotland. The southern half of the UK starts off dry but during the second half of the night rain spreads into Wales and western England.
Tomorrow most areas have sunny spells but showers are likely to break out in southern and central areas. They could cause a few problems at Wimbledon but it should be dry for the most part. Scattered showers are also likely in the north.
On Tuesday wet weather spreads eastwards across much of England and Wales. Drier conditions follow but thunderstorms could develop in the south on Thursday.
