Southern and central areas have a good deal of fine weather this week. In the north it remains more unsettled.
The new working week begins with showers in northern and western areas but elsewhere it is dry. Through the day showers continue in the west of the UK, but they become lighter and more scattered this afternoon. Other areas remain dry with variable amounts of cloud. It remains quite windy.
Temperatures range from about 15C (59F) in the north west to 22C (72F) in the south east. See the rainfall radar and UK weather report map for the latest.
Tonight more persistent outbreaks of rain spread across the north west. Elsewhere it will be dry.
Tomorrow rain pushes eastwards across the north, and in parts of the north west it becomes heavy. Southern and central areas have a dry and warm day.
Wednesday brings the likelihood of further rain to the north west. The south remains dry and very warm with temperatures possibly reaching 28C (82F).
On Thursday a band of patchy rain pushes southeastwards. Once this clears high pressure builds back in from the southwest to bring more decent weather as we head towards the weekend. Buzz looks ahead to late June.
