The outlook remains unsettled with showers or longer spells of rain in all regions. Mid June could see drier conditions developing.
Saturday begins with patchy outbreaks of rain in eastern England but elsewhere it is mostly dry. This morning the wet weather clears from eastern areas to leave bright spells in all regions. Showers develop and through the course of the day they become heavy in the north and west.
It will be cooler than in recent days. Maximum temperatures range from 12C (54F) in western Scotland to 21C (70F) in the south east. See the rainfall and lightning radar and UK weather report map for the latest.
Tonight showers continue in the west. Elsewhere it becomes dry with clear spells.
Tomorrow brings sunny spells but there will be showers too, and they become heavy in the north west of the UK. Temperatures should be similar to today's values.
On Monday heavy outbreaks of rain slowly push in from the west. They clear from eastern areas on Tuesday and showery conditions return.
