The new working week is off to a wet start in central and western regions. In the east it's mostly overcast and dry.
This morning rain pushes eastwards, and it will be heavy in central and northern regions at times. During the afternoon wet weather continues in much of the north and west, but central and south eastern England as well as parts of the north east should have dry periods. It will be windy, especially in the north and west.
Temperatures range from about 12C (54F) in the north west to a muggy 18C (64F) in the south east. See the rain radar for the latest view.
Tonight wet weather affects much of the country but it becomes increasingly restricted to western and northern areas. It will be very mild and muggy.
Tomorrow northern England and Wales have further rain. Ahead of this in the south east it becomes very warm and humid. The north west has cooler and brighter conditions.
On Wednesday wet weather pushes northeastwards across much of the south east of the UK. The north west has sunshine and showers. Heavy rain is likely in the south but its northern and western extent is uncertain.
The rest of the week remains changeable as an area of low pressure sets up shop over the UK. Buzz looks at whether the drought is ending.
