Thursday is off to a dry start across much of the UK but there is patchy rain in the north west. Through the day showers continue to affect north western areas, but elsewhere it remains dry with variable amounts of cloud. Southern and central counties have the best of the sunny spells. It will be quite breezy, especially in the north.
Maximum temperatures range from a cold 7C (45F) in the far north west to 16C (61F) near the south coast. See the radar for the latest view.
Tonight cloudier skies and showery rain spread across much of the north and west of the UK. Central and eastern England remain dry.
Good Friday will see a band of rain spreading southeastwards. This reaches central England and Wales in the afternoon with clearer and showery condition following it from the northwest. The south should be mostly dry but cloudy.
Mixed weather continues on Saturday and Easter Sunday. Showers affect the north and there is a risk of them penetrating southwards at times. The latest guidance points to a chilly Easter Monday with showers most likely in the north and east. Buzz looks at the ongoing possibility of frost.
