Monday begins with scattered showers in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Elsewhere it is dry but cooler air has moved down from the northwest during the night.
Throughout the day it remains mostly dry in southern and central regions, although a few showers may break out. In the north showers are likely to be more frequent but some bright spells develop.
Temperatures this afternoon will be down on recent values, ranging from about 8C (46F) in Scotland to 15C (59F) in south eastern England. See the radar for the latest view.
Tonight cloud and rain spread eastwards across Scotland. Elsewhere clear spells lead to a cold night and a touch of frost in rural areas.
Tomorrow wet weather affects the north. Southern and central areas have a dry and bright day.
During mid-week outbreaks of rain edge southwards but they become light and fragmented. Southern counties stay mostly dry. It will be chilly, particularly in the north where showers could turn wintry over the mountains.
Good Friday looks wet in the north but the south should be dry. Current indications suggest the Easter weekend will start showery and cool, but Sunday and Monday could see high pressure bringing mostly dry conditions. Buzz looks ahead to Easter.
