Tuesday begins with rain to the south and east of London. Elsewhere it is mostly dry but there are scattered showers in the north west.
This morning the rain in the south east eases off. The rest of the UK has a good deal of dry weather but showers continue in the north west. Little changes this afternoon but in the south east cloud should increasingly break.
Temperatures range from 11C (52F) in Scotland to 15C (59F) in east England. See the radar for the latest view.
Tonight it remains mostly dry. Cloud amounts vary but clear spells lead to a risk of localised ground frost.
Tomorrow there will be quite a lot of cloud but sunny spells develop, especially in the west. In central and eastern regions thicker cloud could produce light showers.
During Thursday and Friday high pressure drifts eastwards and cuts off the northwesterly flow. This should lead to more sunshine in southern and central regions, but the north could remain cloudier.
The weekend is expected to be dry and pleasant in southern and central regions. In the north west it probably turn more changeable on Sunday with an increasing risk of rain. Next week all regions have more mixed weather. Buzz looks at the upgrades taking place on TWO.
