Thursday is off to a mild start. In the north and west there are patchy outbreaks of rain but elsewhere it is mostly dry.
During the course of the day the risk of wet weather continues in the north and west. This afternoon the rain could become heavy in western Wales and north western England. Central and eastern England as well as eastern Scotland remain dry and the cloud breaks.
In sunny parts of the east it will be unseasonably warm. Temperatures may reach 21C (70F) in the south east and 17C (63F) in eastern Scotland. See the rainfall radar for the latest view.
Tonight rain continues in the north west. Other areas stay mostly dry.
Tomorrow wet weather affects the north west but elsewhere it should be dry with sunny spells. It will be very mild in the east.
The weekend looks mixed. On Saturday showers spread eastwards across all regions but fine conditions return on Sunday. Next week high pressure brings more settled weather. Buzz looks ahead to April.
