The new working week begins dry but it has been a chilly overnight. The coming days will see more changeable weather returning as high pressure slips away.
Today it remains dry and sunny spells develop, but there is likely to be more cloud than during recent days. It will be quite warm with temperatures close to 17C (63F) in brighter parts of the south this afternoon. See the UK weather report map for the latest view.
Tonight it stays dry but frost and mist return. Through the second half of the night cloud builds in the south west.
Tomorrow showery rain spreads northeastwards and some heavy bursts are possible in the west. Scotland probably has a mostly dry day.
On Wednesday a band of wet weather pushes in from the west, but outbreaks of rain in the east will be patchier. The south east may stay mostly dry and warm.
Thursday could be dry and warm in much of central and eastern Britain. In the north west another batch of wet weather arrives.
Friday and the weekend look mixed. All regions have wet spells, but drier and brighter periods develop too. Buzz looks ahead to April.

The 16 day GEFS shows more changeable weather in the coming week. Beyond this a good deal of dry weather is favoured, especially in the south.
