Welcome to the forecasts homepage. We provide a wide range of forecasts for the United Kingdom. The links to these are on the left side of the page. In addition a summary of the expected weather conditions for major cities in Britain is provided below along with information about the release schedule for all of our forecasts.
Discussion forecasts
These are handwritten and updated at regular intervals.
The 14 day outlook is issued every Sunday and is updated on the following Wednesday or Thursday.
The 45 day outlook is issued at the end of each month.
The seasonal outlooks are issued every three months as follows:
Spring in late February
Summer in late May
Autumn in late August
Winter in late November
Icon and graphical forecasts
These update either two or four times each day. To produce them we take a data feed from the GFS forecasting model which goes out to t+384 hours. Our software then processes the data and produces the forecasts.
