Morning

Another clear  morning ahead of another hot one today.

A cooler start with a current temperature of 11.8c after an overnight low of 11.5c.

The sky has more of a continental hazy look about it today.

A bit of a change this morning in that we have fog (very unusual for Skye, normally to windy) and temperatures as a consequence are around 12C down on the same time yesterday and Saturday! However, it is still dry and calm, with a light north easterly breeze. No rain of course. Visibility is very poor, maybe about 100m or so, cloud base is sea level.

17.0c,Thats a rise of 12c since 04.48

The MET site at Ravensworth dipped to 3c last night,very similar frost hollow to here.

Wow, 21.7C already which is 8C higher than yesterday this time.
Almost no wind I guess the reason.
So far we have had some onshore wind every day.

Well, it doesn't really get much better. Driving to work down the A87 to Portree this morning. No traffic, sunshine and blue sky above, deep blue sea to the right and a glorious cloud investion with the peaks of the Cuillin pointing out in front. And Dire Straits Money for Nothing blasting out on the radio......

Sunny and warm here in Portree with the office windows open, 11C and cloudy back home.
