Seething? Nah. Not with you. <<< big hugs >>>
You sound like Dick Dastardly
How 'bout me as Penelope Pitstop?
No. That's just wrong.
I see you two still have your rulers out
Matty = WUM
Really surely not
So, Rodgers it would appear to be, if the Beeb is correct.
Excellent manager but the job has probably come too early for him.
The Liverpool job is a big one - not in terms of prestige but in terms of sorting out a train wreck.
Hearing Rodgers could be confirmed within the Hour for Liverpool (3yr deal)

Rodgers agrees three year deal.
First order of business - probably put in a bid for Stephen Caulker.

Director of Football (and his assistant) also confirmed.
I'll just leave this here http://shop.tottenhamhotspur.com/product/spurs-champions-league-logo-mugimg-src=3for2btn-jpg/45514/
Was Rodgers the biggest name they could get, did Liverpool want someone without a huge profile thinking they were bigger than the club, did Liverpool want a man they could mould into their own style? Did they want a yes man , someone who was happy to be at a club like Liverpool and will tow the line?
Just seems strange that they have gone for someone who has only managed Swansea, seems also odd that they also chatted to another man from the lower half of the Prem.
Not saying he wont do well, I hope he does but I think it will be tough with directors of football sticking their nose in.
I think they've done a u-turn on the DOF idea, rumours suggest Martinez and Rodgers didn't support the idea.
I'm rather underwhelmed.
The foundations for Swansea's rise were laid by Martinez. Rodgers bummed out at Reading & Watford before inheriting a well put together side.
Saying that, I wouldn't have been cheering from the rafters for Martinez either. Both are unproven in the pressure-cooker atmosphere of massive expectation you get at one of the world's most prestigious clubs.
Swansea had the second best possession stats last season, but one of the lowest goals-for totals. I know that pundits were purring over their brand of possession football last season, but it's worthless without an end product. And, without a cutting edge and some pace in the passing, it can be tedious to watch.
